I am a veteran former journalist who started in the news business with The New York Daily News. I later worked for The Syracuse (N.Y.) Post-Standard, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, where I served as California Business Editor, and for Investor's Business Daily, where I was President, CEO and Editor. I also worked in radio and TV and taught journalism at USC. I spent 25 years in the news business and I know how it works.
